Just to sidetrack a bit for this release. I just manage to figure out that S&P Stamp Duty only apply to RM 10 per copy. The S&P Stamp Duty which showing in Strawberry Property is actually MOT (Memorandum of Transfer) Stamp Duty. Thus, I make a minor correction here. Same goes to Android version.

Finally, got times with android development. Been long times as a C# & VB developer, I think it is the moment for me to get some times to wear java hat. Staying as a developer career long did not bring me further. I can develop good software but so what. Younger time, I have that kinds of passion to become a nerdy guys. I remember I did write the code so call AI using turbo basic. Well, not so smart actually. But things changed. Life changed. So, I have to move on and get what market demand. I’m property lover and a car enthusiast as well. Anyhow, that’s my life.
Strawberry Property is born because of my passion in property investment. Yesterday, I try to calculate the total estimation costs of ownership for buying another property. Things can be calculated in 1 second but it took me few minutes to sum it up. Well, I got a machine in front of me. I just thought why not let the machine to work it out while I’m doing a crucial decision of go or no go for the property buying. Times is money.
Another UI change for Strawberry Application. It is quite fatigue and troublesome to get all the alignment to work properly in this new layout.
As you can see from the below screenshot, Strawberry Property is adopting the new modern style UI. Special thanks to Kozw. I love the way how WPF looks and feel. But developing it is not as easy as windows form. Too old for me to catch up with new technology and framework.
Anyhow, please feel free to use the Property module and experience the new UI behavior. If you notice that, there will be no ‘Close’ button in the main window. Here are some screenshots which depicted like below:-
As an user of my own software, I figure out that I’m missing the expense entry. Renting out our own premises might need to keep cautions over the costs spending over the property. Besides passion in writing software, I also interested in investing property market. If given a chance back to college times, I might have choose economic or business management instead of computer science with math combination.
Phew. Finally, this is get released. This property vacancy features really used up most of the times. At first, I thought developing a vacancy entry which will sufficient enough. After a few revamp, I came to a conclusion to let application to remind the user instead of user himself/herself to remember when the tenancy expired.

What is point of interest? Some people prefer buying property in certain location or some surrounding amenities which keep the buyer interest. We can simply open a browser history to checkup the best buy or by advertisement. But what if you have more than one place which you want to be stayed informed. Too much tabbing in browser will be making things overwhelming.
Recently, I have been busy to focus on the property application. Although I have been some times with WPF, there is still a lots of rooms improvement to go thru.
